Interfaith Council for Peace & Justice (ICPJ) has created a short piece (3 1/2 pages) on how to deal with Ann Arbor’s new compost rules, with help from Nancy Stone (Master Composter), Mallory Lawson from the City of Ann Arbor and Mckenzie Munro from the Ecology Center. It’s aimed especially at religious congregations and focuses on the issue of compostable dishes and cutlery, but it would be useful for residential customers as well. It includes a page on composting food waste without the use of compostable “plastic” bags.
